Whether you are a Marine Biology student or just take an interest in the ocean, we are a welcoming bunch of people that want to make a difference to the marine environment around us and on campus. WHAT WE HOPE TO ACHIEVE

• To help keep local beaches (and rivers) clean and free from litter in order to maintain a safe and healthy marine environment  

• To enhance sustainability and decrease the environmental impact of the University by reducing single-use plastic around campus

• To educate ourselves and others about the importance of the ocean and the fascinating life within it 

• To increase general awareness of environmental issues relating to the health of the ocean and promote ideas for change through individual involvement
