Welcome to the Essex Entrepreneurs Society!

Founded in March 2020, our mission is to celebrate and support student entrepreneurship at the University of Essex. We were built to provide a social space for regulars at Essex Startups events and grew quickly into hosting workshops, panel events, quizzes and more! Join us if you would like to be part of a supportive and inclusive community.

Our Aims

To inspire and support students to start and run their own businesses

To promote and grow existing student businesses (please get in touch if we can support you)

 To provide an inclusive space to meet like-minded people, have fun and perhaps find your founding team!

Our Offering

• The chance to join and develop a supportive and inclusive community of entrepreneurial students.
   
• Diversity in business and leadership is vital, for a myriad of reasons. We will showcase diverse journeys in entrepreneurship with the aim of breaking down real and perceived barriers to success (whatever that means to you).
   
• The opportunity to apply to join the executive committee and become a society leader. If you want us to offer something, you can make this happen!

We don’t want price to be a barrier. That’s why our joining fee is only £1. Register as a member to join our mailing list and gain access to our events.
