Hi Essex, I’m Ata, your new VP Activities!
 
Big shout out to my lovely campaign team and to everyone who voted. I won’t let you all down.
 
I’m 22, half Turkish, half Pakistani and I’ve been in Essex for 3 years now. I just graduated with a degree in Law!
During my time in Essex, I’ve always been out and about on our beautiful campus, meeting friends and making a ton of memories together. I have been an executive member of both the Law Society and Pakistan Society this year, DJ’d at the bar twice, modelled on a runway, hosted a lot of big get togethers (of a reasonable size), played a lot of music on my speakers (at a respectful volume) all whilst riding on my pink bike all through the squares (always parked responsibly).
 
It’s safe to say, having lived the Essex student life the best I could, I think I have a pretty good idea of what we’re all looking for, and as your VP Activities, I’m here to bring more of it to life.
