hello, we are the essex blades women's basketball club
Basketball is a non-contact team sport played with 5 players on each side. The game is 40 minutes long divided into 4 quarters of 10 minutes. The aim of the game is to shoot a ball through the basket while being defended by the players from the other team. When a basket is scored during a regular game it is worth 2 points. A player can also score a three point basket from behind the three-point line. If a player was fouled they shoot 2 free throws worth one point each. The team with the most points wins.
