What will I learn?
- Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
- Assessing an incident
- Effectively dealing with:
- Unconcious casualties
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Choking
- External bleeding
- Shock
- Minor injuries
What will I do?
The course runs over 1 day, and is hands on to help you practise first aid techniques with a final assessment at the end of the day.

Due to the popularity and cost for us to run this session free of charge for you, we ask that a £5 deposit is paid in cash within 2 working days of reserving your space online at SU reception. The deposit is returned to you on attendance at the session, but is non-refundable if you fail to attend the session.
