We can now offer you the chance get your BIIAB Level 2 award for Personal Licence holders which is required for anyone who wants to go on to achieve their personal licence.
Complete this course and you will hold a professional licensing qualification with which you can go on to apply for the Personal Licence!
What will I learn?

- Powers of police and other officers
- Prohibitions for the sale of alcohol
- The strengths of alcoholic drinks, and the effects of alcohol on the human body
- Protection of children from harm
What will I do?
The course runs over 1 day, with a 40 min multiple choice assessment at the end which is accredited by the British Institute of Innkeepers Awarding Body (BIIAB) - pass this and you will have a professional licensing qualification with which you can go on to apply for the Personal Licence!
Getting your Personal Licence:
Although the course and qualification is free, if you do wish to apply for a personal licence you will need to take personal responsibility to apply for this from your local council as well as the DBS check required. You will also need to pay the costs involved in the DBS and application process. Once you pass the assessment and receive your level 2 award however, you can apply for the Personal Licence whenever you fancy, you don't have to do this straight away, that's the benefit of doing the course with us now :-) Although we can advise you on this process in the session.
