"This stunning film recounts the true story of a group of young adults rescued from Nazi concentration camps and brought for rehabilitation, on the shores of Lake Windermere, to prepare for a new life in the UK. A beautifully made, deeply touching drama with outstanding performances - including cameos from the surviving children of Windermere themselves - this film is also a wonderful reminder of the profound impact of kindness on traumatised, troubled refugees.
Please note: Due to licensing restrictions, this screening is only available to University of Essex Staff and Students."
