Does your society or club want to host an event? Well, we have the perfect venue for you.
You are now able to takeover our very own SU Bar for FREE on Saturdays to host any event that you want. Whether you fancy a quiz, a party night or a niche theme, then this is the place to let your creativity run free!
The hire is for Saturday's only, and you can make the bar entirely yours for the night. Bring any decor and music to fit your vibe, and most importantly have fun!
If you fancy levelling it up and bringing a DJ, we can sort you one (for a fee) or feel free to email Rebel Student Media (rebel@essex.ac.uk) or DM them in advance to book one of their DJs for free!
The rules of the takeover are fairly simple:
- You CAN'T bring your own alcohol (but you can re-name our cocktails to fit your theme)
- You CAN bring your own food
